I have a 1985 15hp evinrude it is a pull start can a starter be put on this motor instead of a pull rope?

Yes. You will need all the parts and wiring that the electric model used that the roper didn't.<br /><br />You will probably also need a manual.

hello<br /> it is doable but very expensive. you can go for the bare bones starter only to the full monty that would include an altenater. good luck
