Thanks in advance for your help! During summer vacation, some combustion troubles occurs on my 2001 Evinrude Ficht 115. It seems that there are too much oil in the cylinder, the symptom is :<br />after a maintenance, RPM max is 5400, no trouble for 1 hour. After that (1h30 min ), the max rpm decrease to 4500 rpm (with same load) and its impossible to reach more rpm! The boat is sent back to the Evinrude repair center, 400 for a maintenance, fixing the trouble ( reset ECU, new software, new spark plugs). Bingo, it works for 1h30 after that, again trouble and dame symptoms as before. Did anyone got the same troubles ? Did you have any idea of the root cause ? I need a motor in which I'm confident (dive boat, sometimes one boat on sea..) ? Thanks, Thierry, Belgium's diver.
