Been puzzled by this classified ad in the boating section of my trader paper for the past few weeks which has a boat with an Evinrude 75 hp "staff light".<br /><br />Best I could come up with was a stern light on a staff i.e. post. <br /><br />Still couldn't work out why it would be hp rather than volts or watts. Sounded like a pretty impressive stern light if it's run by a 75hp motor. Way too big for the 15 foot boat it's on.<br /><br />Finally dawned on me tonight when I saw it again that the typist wrote down what she heard, but it's really a 75hp Evinrude Starflight.<br /><br />No wonder he's still trying to sell it!
