Hi,<br /> Ihave a Johnson 25 HP (1982) with an AC<br /> lighting outlet, is it possible to use this<br /> for battery charging! i think it has to be DC<br /> for this, if so, can it be done!<br /> I need power for fish finder ect, as i dont want<br /> to suffer with "dead" battery syndrome!<br /><br /> Thanks, Aqualung

You will need to install a rectifier, this will change the current to DC and will stop the battery from draining back into the block and going dead.<br /><br />Others will post...and tell you the part numbers.<br /><br />TMD
