Current motor scheduled for maintenance due to gas leak at motor. This has the old style of tank with pumper button, not priming bulb.

Does not leak immediately. Have run for many hours with no leaks, when at rest it will drip, drip, drip from inside bonnet. Not very ECO friendly. Is this gasket related? Is there an over pressure releif valve?

Please advise

might be the O-ring on the connector, or the connection at the carb. It might also be an improperly adjusted carburetor float. You should be able to look under the hood and determine the source of the leak. You can release the tank pressure by simply unscrewing the cap a little, and that should stop the leaking when the motor is not operating. You probably want to keep the pressure up while looking for the leak, although you might also be able to find it by looking for wet spots around the bowl and/or the hose connections.
