You guys are inspiring me... I have a 1997 Marada 18.5' bowrider ski boat. I bought new carpet for it and starting ripping out the old carpet today. I don't think I want to install the carpet now.What can I use to get that finished deck look on fishing boats. I'm sure there is a product but what is it? The floor is in great condition, no rot, and is already glassed.Is there a product to spray on or roll on? Any info would be appreaciated!Basically I'm looking at turning it into fish boat. I'm thinking about removing the big bolster seats, big rear bench seat, and big rear padded platform. I figure I could get four small pedastal seats, box in the I/O, and make the padded bow platform into a casting area with a pedastal seat. I know I could trim 200 pounds off easily!! After I refinished the deck I would get some snap in carpet made up since I just purchased a 8x21' roll to do the whole boat.

Hey Florida John, welcome to IBoats, this site has tons of great info. They have different types of marine vinyl that you can lay down. Looks like carpet. That's what was in my boat, but I found that a Thin layer of water would get trap in certain areas. Instead of laying anything down, I've decided to use Truck Bedliner (Herculiner) which I roll on with a roller. I put some in my pickup and it's great stuff, it's tuff and fish guts should wash out with a simple spray. Where abouts in FLUSA are you? That was my old stomping grounds. Sure miss the fishin down there. But the Salmon is making up for that.

I am redoing the inside of my boat using evercoat skid no more. http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cgi...****=539366340 it comes gray but you can color it any color you want. if the weather would cooperate I would have it painted by now
