I have a Model TJ60TLETD 60hp Johnson that I had rebuilt last year. The fellow said that I needed to put 46 or 47 jets in it.I drilled them out with the correct drill size but it now runs rich and uses lots of fuel. The original jets where 35's and I wonder if he meant size up to 37's.
Please help if anyone can.P.s. Is there a place that I can get the jets online???
Thanks

TClark.... The fellow was probably speaking of the high speed jets which are normally #44D (.044) jets on the 60hp which are in the bottom center of the float chamber. The idle air bleed jets at the top of the carburetor would be #35 (.035).

You don't say what jets you changed, however I do not understand why you would change either of them anyway.

My book states:

The high speed jets (.044) for that engine are OMC part number 328540 and are marked 44D.

The slow speed idle air bleed jets would be OMC part number 318832 (.035) and are simply marked 35.
