Can anyone help? I have a 4.5 Johnston on my sail boat. It starts after 2-3 pulls. The problem is that the last few times out, it ran fine on the way out (20 min) but would not start when coming back (5-6 hrs later). The gas is a year old and the motor sits outside, but has always been reliable. What are the correct spark plugs, and what can be done to make freshen her up other than a carb kit? I assume this is a 2 cyl since there are 2 plugs. Thanks.

Motors are like wives, you got to treat'em right or they will give you big problems. Get rid of that old gas, rebuild the carb. Clean the plugs, get a manual and don't depend on the wind always being in your favor.
