The warning siren recently came on while we were skiing. It has been acting up all year so we didn't think much of it until the throttle control/ignition box started to smoke. When we took it apart the speaker had melted. I pulled out the speaker and am trying to get the engine to run without it but don't know what to do with the purple (ignition) and tan (engine temp) wires. If anybody could help I would appreciate it.
