Howdy, KCalleja.

Your engine will run well on unleaded fuel, no changes required.

Good luck. :)

alcfer - You can run unleaded - the VRO can be either connected or not. My 1987 OMC V4 has the VRO disconnected & I run unleaded - in fact you can not but leaded fuel here (unless you add it seperately).

Sorry, Solittle but I'dont understand you.

My question is if I can use in my engine unleaded petrol with 95 octane. At the moment i'm using super 97 with additive, but is expensive that the other.

Thanks
Fernando

Fernando...

You don't need all that octane. An octane rating of 87 or 89 is all you need. What kind of additive are you using?

Re: Johnson 110 1989 vro

Jim, Im living in Spain, and two years ago, the goverment changed the old leaded 97 octane by the new 97 octane pluss an additive. This is the petrol that i'm using in my engine but without any additional additive.

I was thinking about to use the 95 octane unleaded petrol that is the more usual for automotive in Europe. The name in Spain is eurosuper 95.

Do you know if is possible the change?

Thanks for your help
