ignition coil resistances and part number

I have been trying to find out the correct OMC<br />part number for the ignition coils on my 1976<br />75hp Johnson Stinger outboard.I also want to<br />know the correct primary and secondary coil<br />resistances for these ignition coils.If you can<br />give me this information it would be greatly <br />appreciated.

Hi Chris...welcome to iboats forums...where the motto is....IF WE CAN'T FIX IT....THEN IT AIN'T BEEN MADE YET..... :D :D :D <br /><br />OK...fun times over...latest part number for yer coil is 502886. <br /><br />Not sure about the resistance reading....I would guess somewhere in the 5 ohm neighborhood.

(Ignition Coil Ohm Meter Test)<br /><br />Primary resistance is .100 ohm +- .05 ohm.<br /><br />Secondary continuity is 1300 ohm +- 500 ohm.
