Port engine trim/tilt failed. Found trim/tilt motor had seized (since repaired). In the process I stripped manual hydraulic release screw and cannot restore operation. Not much room to work, but can the screw be removed without complete disassembly of the hydraulic unit? If the screw litterally "screws" in ... which direction do you turn to remove ... after the "C" ring is removed?

once the ring is removed, it should back out like any other screw <left to loosen-rite to tighten>.<br />-<br />book says to wear eye protection due to residual pressure & cover area with a shop cloth as you remove.
