150hp johnson running rich - yr2000

I just purchased a yr 2000 used boat with a 150hp Johnson ocean pro that is now running very rich (lots of smoke). I used 1 gallon of oil with approx 9 gallons of gas. Model # J150VXSSS. Serial # G04861897. Oil puddling at the air intake to the carburators. Is this a oil injection pump problem?

Could be, or you have an oil line leaking.<br /><br />I'd look there first.
