Hi, when I was on the Baltic Sea before Travemünde my engine suddenly died in a field of sea grass the other day, as one had switched off the ignition.
I cleaned the prop, which wasn't blocked at all and then could start again and the motor ran normally for 30 further seconds before dieing off again.
Then the motor wouldn't start for about 1-2 hours.
Then suddenly it started again and ran completely normal again.

Before and after this accident the engine always had run superbly.

Is it possible, that the powerpack has an occasional failure?
The motor doesn't overheat even under full load conditions.

this

I would guess that when you got into the grass it blocked the pickup for the water pump and the motor got hot. When it cooled it would start normally.
