Ok folks, I have done everything by the book to adjust my carb.I did the sync and link adjustment, and I also lightly seated my Idle mixture needle valve, and brought it out 2 1/2 turns just like clymers tells me too, It ran like crap, I adjusted the needle until it ran better at idle, and it works great until about 5mph then it will bog down and die, if I go from idle to half throttle or full throttle it runs good, Its just that little area around 5mph that has me stumped, I dont have a tach so I cant give rpms, But here is the hummdinger of the whole thing if I go full throttle and slowly decellerate, I can run at any speed including 5mph area? Plugs looked decent but dry which worries me about being to lean...............When I reassembled the carb, clymers told me to install my intermediate air bleed jet(sits in the top plate of the carb, in the plastic cover)it told me to tighten it up, but nowhere did I see anything about opening that up a bit, could that be part of my problem?

At what point of the spark advance does the throttle plate start to open? That is a critical adjustment for good drivability.
