I have a 93 Tracker TX-17 with a 93 Evinrude Tracker 60HP on the back. The motor runs fine at first and for 5-10 minutes of run time(idle to full throttle). If I run it for 15 minutes or longer, and I bring the engine back down to idle, it runs rough, i.e. barely stays cranked and shakes the whole boat! If I try and put it back in gear it completely shuts off. I have to keep playing with it for a while until it will stay running again. I had a mechanic check the compression and all cylinders were between 125-130. He also said the spark plugs were firing correctly. The impeller seems to work properly because plenty of water is coming out the back while the engine runs. I don't think it is a Carburetor problem since it does not give me trouble at the beginning.<br /><br />Can anyone help?
