I recently purchased a 1988 Evinrude 25hp outboard (model E25RCCA). The seller advised me to use a 50:1 oil mixture. The fuel inlet on the motor is clearly labeled "100:1". Which mixture should I use?

Use 50:1, Sinbad.The 100:1 spec only lasted a few years before OMC backed off and changed back to 50:1.Too many engines blew up on 100:1.
