spark plug johnson

my 1984 60hp johnson is running well(i think) but i have noticed that it has ngk B9HS-10 plugs as opposed to the manuals stated B7HS-10. it is also running a .090 gap(book says .040). should i change these?

You should change them to the Champion plugs E&J reccommends. QL77JC4's would be a good choice.<br /><br />Good luck!
