Having trouble on above. The stem from the fuel line doesn't seem to connect into the fuel pump itself securely. There's a clamp holding the hose to the stem but there is nothing there to hold the stem firmly in place when inserted into the female outlet on the fuel pump.

Does anyone know how to secure this? Thanks so much. I lost my sign-on to iboats and had to renew my registration.

Later pumps had a steel ring and 2 screws to hold
nipple in. Early pump nipples were part of the pump body, and sometimes broke off.

Thanks. I think I will try to use some adhesive to get the nipple secured. It doesn't appear broken nor are there any screw holes as you mention... Thanks again
