I've been looking high and low for a meter or adapter to do peak voltage. Meters are very expensive, and an adapter (other than the one from ES in Chili) were also $85 $90). Surprisingly Fluke does not make a meter that will do Peak reading (that from Fluke themselves) because of the frequency of the signal. So the choices to my knowledge were CDI/Rapair at $90 or a Stevens CD77 meter at $167. In looking at Stevens web site for the price of the meter, I find that they have an adapter (pva-1) for $33.50. Good news for all us work on our own boat types. That is the "mechanic" price (aren't we all ;) . I thought I'd pass this on since this is "affordable" to most all of us, and so many here need one. cheers. http://www.stevensinstrument.com/productp.htm
