hi,<br />i have a 64evinrude model#3432c serial#b10854<br />yachtwin,that will not cool,and won't pull water.i have done several things,new impellar,new head gasket,its clean throughtout,runs great,but no water returns out. any thoughts?<br />thanks matt

If I'm not mistaken, it's a little hard to tell if the water pump is working on that outboard just by looking, since there's no tell-tale and the idle relife port is small and near the water-line. You could try removing the flush screw (located just under the engine part, where the tiller arm bolts on). If water comes shooting out of it, at least you know your waterpump is working properly. That's water that's supposed to be cooling the engine, so don't run it for more than a second or two. It should shoot a good couple of feet.
