Tilt and trim Evinrude 50hp

I would like to put a t/t on my 74 50hp. I cannot seem to find a good used one for this motor. I can find ones that are for bigger motors, 90-200hp. would one of these fit and work. :p

Wikelam,<br /><br />The short answer is no. The larger hp. engines used an entirely different midsection and gearcase.<br /><br />Have you looked at CMC?

Yeh but cant seem to find one i can afford. Had the chance to buy one for a 50hp for $100, worked great, the guy just bought a new cmc from cabelas(i think). I passed on the chance, still kicking myself for that. the new cmc's i think are going for about $400-500. for that i will tilt the motor the old fashioned way. Maybe i can come across a used cmc.
