my 1998 90hp has the original spark plugs in it. it has about 250 hrs on lake use only. when i buy new plugs will they be gapped already or will i have to do it my self? thanks i hope this isn't a stupid question, but i need to know.
dansoph,<br /><br />Depends on if it's a crossflow or looper 90.<br /><br />If it's a crossflow, they are Champion L77JC4 gapped at: .040". Yes, you will have to check and possibly regap.<br /><br />You should be able to read the numbers on the old ones.<br /><br />Or, post the model # of your engine, that will help.
