I soaked my carb for a half hour in some carb cleaning solvent. Now there is some greenish algae looking deposits on some of the brass parts which I can't reach, is this bad? Do I need to soak the carb longer?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />BJ

BJ,<br /><br />Something is reacting with the brass. I think I'd tru to clean tose areas up with some spray carb cleaner and reassemble them.
