I was told by a local Johnson/Evinrude dealer that to get extra(hidden horsepower) out of my outboard all I have to do s install a set of carbs. off a 115hp. Then If I need more power I could just install carbs and the exhaust port off a 140 hp Evinrude. They said that the 85hp,115hp, and 140hp is all yhe same motor just different carbs and exhaust. Is this true?
