Help! In terms of running all the hoses, my shop book, for my 1960 Evinrude 40hp Lark engine, is useless. I purchased 2 of the same engines, The engine block on one was completely rebuilt, but it lacked, and we therefore needed the carb, fuel pump, armature plate, etc... etc... from the second engine. This second engine was complete, it just had poor compression. Unfortunately, a lot of the hose fittings (water, fuel vac) from the complete engine we left open without hoses attached to them. Is there anyone that can help me out, and tell me where I could find a hosing schematic for my engine?

The seloc volume one has a lot of blown up drawings showing you what goes where.The same goes for the parts catalogue.These you can easily get from e-bay.

Thank you but, the seloc volume 1 book is the shop book i was referring to as useless. It only shows where the fittings physicly exist on the engine. It does not show where the hoses from these fittings run to.
