I have 1984 Evinrude 15 hp motor. I stored it in the house over the winter and now the tilt does work properly. <br /><br />I put the tilt level in position and lift the motor. When I lift it all the way up out of the water it latches in place. <br /><br />The middle tilt doesn't activate. There is a little lever that is suppose to spring forward and allow the motor to sit half tilt without manually adjusting the tilt rod in the holes. <br /><br />I noticed there is only one spring on this lever. I don't know if it needs to be replaced or if it is missing one?
