Due to the record temperatures we were blessed with last week, I can't rember what year the Johnsons and Evinrudes started using roller bearings instead of the babbit bearings. I almost wrote beerings, I think that is what caused my brain fade last week. I think I remember 1967 or 1968 was the start of the rollers.
