Look for low hydraulic fluid or air in the system.

c/6

Hooty

This posting may help
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jarob...... That problem is caused by one of two ball bearing type check valves that are located in the oil pump which is located under the electric motor. The cure is to replace the oil pump.

However, this is something one can live with. It's simply a matter of waiting approximately 60 seconds after raising or lowering the engine to its extreme/max position.

--------------------
Joe (30+ Years With OMC)
