looking for paint code,1995 Evinrude
I am looking for a paint code,PPG,etc. for 1995 Evinrude 70hp.I found PPG 16540 in the archives but says 1989-93 motors,would this be the same for a 1995? TIA.

What color? The engines came in different colors. Base coat, clear coat, or one coat?

clanton,it appears to be a dark metalic blue.

PPG codes, 18319 one coat blue for midsection and gearcase. 18320 base coat clear coat for engine cowling. DP40401 primer.

Thank You Clanton,my motor leg has been painted before with a good automotive paint and now the primer is showing through from rock chips,yellow epoxy ,so doen't look so good,just wanted to re do the gear case.
