74 EVINRUDE 50HP IDLE PROB??

I Have a 1974 evinrude 50HP outboard. I am very new to boats and i notice when i start it up and let it run at idle it seems to shake alot. Is that normal for this type of motor. All the mounting brackets are tight, It just looks like its running rough. Or will it get better once its in the water?<br />Thx in advance

OK i should have added this in last posting but. Me being boat stupid :eek: :mad: i think i might have doubled the 2 cycle oil mixture to the fuel tank. Could that be a factor?
