I am trying to identify what year is that new old outboard just acquired. I suspect the cowl does not match the motor. Cowl says Evinrude 20 and the plate from Evinrude Canada says model: 209CR02R and Serial: C7062530. Please help me clarify.
Thank you Bear, can you explain how you came to this conclusion? I do not doubt the answer cause it confirms other infos I had and that the cowl was replaced with a more recent one, just want to learn.
