Among the many questions ...<br /><br />The guy selling the motor was quite enamored with the restoration he did on a fourteen foot duo, to the point that he didnt want to part with the controls or the control box to the motor. I told him that the motor controls were universal to older evinrude/ johnsons, but I wasnt sure about the electric start control box<br /><br />It is a 64 Super Sea Horse 40, with electric start and a charging circuit, does the control box have anything of importantance in it, or is it merely a case for a soleniod to connect the key on the dash to the engine?<br /><br />(I know, I know, Im GETTING the manual, but Im curious tonight!)
