good day all. i have a 1975 25hp evinrude mod #25503bc it seems to be a long shaft motor(has a spacer in the lower unit)is it possible to remove this "spacer" and make the motor a short shaft.the prop seems to be to far below the hull.<br />thanks a kazzilion Z
