I am working to get my boat statrted (so much for the memorial day weekend launch party).<br /><br />The temp alarm located in the shift control box was only working once in every 20 turns of the key switch. I took it out and put it dircetly to the battery. It chirped once then never worked again. I'm trying to find a replacement. The Radio Shack unit I bought was too big to fit. I was going to locate it under the center console. Then after hooking it up, (purple wire to one terminal, tan to the other) it didnt work either.<br /><br />These are the reasons I wish I never got rid of my inboard engine. Those engines made sense.<br /><br />
