Gas/Oil mix for Evinrude 140hp

Hello! I have just bought a boat with an Evinrude motor, outboard. The boat is a 1982 so I assume the motor is that year give or take a year or so.<br /><br />I would like to find out the oil/gas mix for this motor. It is a 140 hp motor.<br /><br />Thanks !<br /><br />Katie

The fuel/oil mix is 50:1. One pint of TCW3 two cycle oil to 6.25 gallons of 87 octane gasoline.

If the OMC motor is a VRO model, there is no manual mixing of oil to the fuel.There is a oil reservoir<br />which you simply fill and the fuel and oil is mixed automatically.

Evinrude didn't make a 140 hp VRO until 1984.
