HELP. i've torn up my only key and my forward/reverse lever sheared off. i've got the white metal box and can't figure out how to take it apart to take off the bad part and how to replace the key switch. how bad off am i?

If you have an allen head wrench set and a phillips head screwdriver....you are not so bad off.<br /><br />Remove the shift lever by removing the allen head screw in the center of the lever. The fast idle lever has a nut to remove. Then remove the phillips head screws in the bottom cover. Remove the screws in the top cover..should be apart.
