I am looking at a Four Winns 240, it has a 5.7 Gxi w/duoprop. What can you tell me about this engine? I was looking for a Merc at least 7.4 for a 24 ft boat, have never had a Volvo engine.
That 5.7litre that drives that Volvo Penta Duoprop is a Rock solid combo for your Horizon. I have the same drivetrain and can reach60 mph with my fat a and32 gallons of fuel plus lots of gear. Whats wrong with the one you have?
