Can any one tell me how to go about cleaning the water passages on a 1972 2HP Johnson out board? The impeller of the pump looks good but does not appear to be pumping water. Can you just blow air through the water tube?
djp,<br /><br />Yes, you can use air to check the water passages.<br /><br />If you had an impeller come apart, there is a good chance there are some pieces in the powerhead.
