Hey all,<br /><br />just looking for a little feedback. I am purchasing an older Crestliner, all aluminum, from a buddy of mine. It has an older Johnson Meteor Electramatic 100 hp on it (1960's?). He fired it up, and I heard it run. Just wondering if any of you have had experience with this type.<br /><br />Also, what mixture ratio should I use for the motor fuel? I am assuming 50:1?? Thanks!

We need a model number to give you accurate fuel mix advice, Johnson1. It was in the early 60s that OMC switched from 24:1 to 50:1 mix recommendation.<br /><br />Two things that you can be sure of: Those big cross flow V4s were a thirsty bunch, but tough as a locomotive.<br /><br />Good luck. :)
