I am picking up a 1983 johnson 90 h.p. V-4 motor that was winterized and has not been ran in 2-3 years. Looking for some help on the proper steps to take to get this motor running this season without damaging anything. I am told that the motor ran fine before it was winterize. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Also, change the oil in the foot and de-carbonize. If it was winterized well, this should keep problems down. I believe I'd put a teaspoon of OB oil in the cylinders and turn over a few times to distribute before starting motor.
