Hi Everyone,<br /><br /> Can someone tell me the year of this motor. Model # VXL-13A and the Serial number is J2778366. It is a 60 HP.<br /><br />Thank you,<br /><br />Shane

Turtle.... That engine is a 1967 60hp long shaft Johnson.

Thanks a lot for the info. I was thinking about buying this motor but it is older than I had hoped. Do you know if these are decent motors or not?<br /><br />Shane

Could one of you folks with a 1967 Johnson 60 please send me a picture of the steering linkage where it attatches to the motor. I just bought one and the linkage is gone. I have half the bracket but not the stuff to connect it to a cable. Thanks mocrouchs@vci.net
