Thanks to the information and direct responses on this forum, I have: 1) rebuilt the carburators, 2)changed the thermostat and 3)replace the water pump/impeller on my '89 Johnson 60HP motor during the last 10 days. I would never have attempted/completed any of these tasks without the help of this forum. My motor runs GREAT and should keep me on the water for years to come. If there is ever an "i-boats forum" gathering, I'll buy the first round. Thanks again for all the help.<br />PS, I don't see how some of the professional outboard mechanics do it. I believe outboard motors were designed to be serviced by left-handed people with small, six-fingered hands!
