tilt and trim

I ordered a power tilt and trim for a 1971 100hp Johnson ob off of e-bay. Seller claimed that the power tilt and trim goes on my motor. When I recieved T/T the transon brackets were on unit.<br />Unfortunately none of the holes match up. What am I needing to do?

Hi, Zorro.<br /><br />You can return it for refund or you can try to exchange it for one that fits with a local outboard shop.<br /><br />If the seller balks at refunding your bux, get Ebay to help. They are very harsh on people who misrepresent what they are selling.<br /><br />You can then get the correct unit from www.twincityoutboard.com<br /><br />Good luck. :)

Hey zorro, JB is correct. If the seller don't want to except it back and taking that the description that he gave was wrong, then by all means, get e-bay involved.<br />They are real strict on this type of dealings.<br />Always read the fine print though when dealing on e-bay.<br />Just my .02 worth. :)
