http://www.marinshopen.se/guide/omc/evinguid.htm <br /><br />Nice little motor - may be a little week in the lower unit (check lower unit has no water in it) but power head is very dependable.<br /><br />Sorry to say, the conversion you mention is for the 9.9hp model. I believe that the first year for the 9.9 is 1974. Worse yet, later models of the 9.9 had modifications to exhaust etc. beyond the carb (sorry more then you asked for).<br /><br />Short version - NOPE, carb wont do it to make it a 15<br /><br />Good Luck<br />HAVE FUN!
