I bought one yesterday from my local Johnson/Evinrude dealer. Same part fits yours.Had it on the shelf. One drawback was the cost - $14 !!!!

Hey thanks- 14 buckaroos is fine with me (I want my boat in the water real bad) You dont happen to know anything about carbs with 2 mixture adjustments would you? (one rich/lean and one for high speed) I'm sure they are just adjusted wrong but i cant get the thing to idle for nothin'.

Alotta times those adjuster knobs are set to the shaft with a tapered screw. If it feels like it is almost where it need to be set, yet won't go further, loosen the screw roate the knob thing then retighten the screw. That way you can also adjust the range with which screw operates within.
