Hi all , Tommorrow I'm picking up a boat , It a 1978 Formula 18 foot fiberglass with a 115 hp Merc . I was in the boat 2 years ago and it was slow to plain out , and it topped out at 32 mph at about 5400rpm or so . That was the last ime it was used , it's been in the guys drive way covered since . comes with a trailer to ... $800.00 Canadian . I've been reading about drilling holes in the prop , Seafoam , raising the motor so the plate is even with the bottom of the boat , and riching up the carb setting off idel ... It was stumbling 2 years ago . I love this site ... BUT TO MUCH INFO !!!! LOL Where do I start ????
