1992 johnson 88 special, replaced ignition switch because nothing happens when you turn it on, no lights, no solenoid clicking, no tach movement, no gas gauge movement, no voltmeter movement....after replacing switch, same problem exists, what should i do next?,

boat lights, gauge lights, and tilt up/down are working fine so it cant be battery and ground.

At the battery terminal of the starter solenoid at the engine.... trace one of the smaller red wires backwards to what looks like a rubber boot which one could pull apart. That contains the main power fuse that supplies voltage to the ignition switch terminal (the "B" terminal). It sounds like that fuse has blown.

How about the battery cables to the motor. I had some ground cable corrosion and had the same problem.
