Evinrude selectric sterndrive

Hi All. I have just purchased a boat that has an old Evinrude outdrive Circa 1974. Unfortunately I cannot find any identification numbers on it but I think the model may be called a Stringer. it has A selectric gearshift with two gear box's, one on top of the unit and one at the bottom. the lift mechanism is a rack and pinion type.

I have been warned that there is a special oil that has to be used in these gear box's. I have been given several types such EP90 and SAE30 and QTF. Can anyone identify the proper oil which is used. I would be very grateful. Regards.

mce. i have a 1974 seletric shift they use a lightweight oil i git mine frome the dealer . that foot has a pump in it thed 90 weight wilnot work .
