Any Pee Hole on THIS 115 Evinrude?

Most 115s I have seen have a Pee Hole. Several of my friends wanted me to post this and see if anyone knows the facts. Mod TE115TLEND G 03125497. OK somebody smarter than me explain why we can't find it.

It may not have one. I have an older 200hp and it didn't have one. I installed a water pressure gauge and now it has one.

I just looked at an exploded view of your lower engine cover and I can't tell if it has a pee hole or not. If it does, it will be on the bottom of the lower engine cover on the port side between 1/3 & 1/2 way back.

Ron Davis,Your motor looks to be a 1992 model.I would think that it should be equipped to hook up a waterpump indicator.Look on the lower right corner of the exhaust cover and see if there is a small plug or capped-off elbow for a hose hook-up.Does the lower engine cover have a overboard nipple installed on the starboard side?

I meant to post sooner. I looked at that exploded view again today and it shows a "nipple" on the starboard side of the bottom cover towards the rear. If it's the pee hole. it will protrude from the bottom about 1/8 - 3/16".

If that ain't it, I don' know.

Hey Hooty,Put on your best spectacles and look on that drawing again and see if that 90 degree fitting leaving the bottom corner of the exhaust cover is where the water source feeds from.

Hooty, you said you put a pressure guage on yours and then it had a pee hole. Maybe if you relieve the pressure with a Pee Hole the pressure guage might not read right or did I misunderstand your earlier post?

Tell ya'll what, here's the web site and it's a good one. Click on the engine make in the upper lefthand corner then the year, etc. When the drawing comes up, click on it and it'll enlarge. Again an excelent web site.

No, you read right. The pressure gauge kit comes with the hook-up for the pee hole.

Guys, my eyes ain't what they used to be but I guess you mean the crankcase drawing and that bubble cover in the back? I bet Hooty you are on to something with that Pee Hole thing. I still can't figure what they are trying to do with the pressure thing. Havn't seen one. How does it read, PSI or just idiot light?
